LMI DATA

This section provides occupational and industrial labor market information, Affirmative Action Statistics for Delaware and counties, and Quick Facts derived from OOLMI statistical program data.

Quick Facts
This section provides concise answers to the most frequently asked questions about Delaware labor market.

Affirmative Action Statistics
This report is specifically designed for use by employers in developing their Affirmative Action Plans. Grant proposal writers, planners, economic development groups and other data users may also find these statistics very useful. These documents contain population, labor force and occupational information by sex and minority status.

Employment & Wages (QCEW Program, previously ES-202)
QCEW data are organized by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and includes the number of firms, their locations, monthly employment and total wages. The data are produced from covered employment and wage reports of employers subject to Unemployment Insurance (UI) coverage.

Occupational Employment Statistics Program (OES)
The OES is a listing of occupational wage data compiled from annual surveys of all non-farm industries. All states participating in the OES Survey attain data in the same way allowing direct cross-state comparisons to determine whether or not local salaries are competitive.

Local Area Unemployment Statistics Program (LAUS)
LAUS data are produced from a monthly household survey of a sample of the total working-age civilian population. This is used in conjunction with CES and Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims data to compute local area employment, unemployment and labor force statistics.

Current Employment Statistics Program (CES)
CES data provide estimates of employment by industry, hours worked and earnings for selected industries using payroll records and survey forms returned by employers each month. The data include estimates for all nonagricultural employees. Estimates are produced and published monthly.

Occupational and Industrial Projections
Projections for period 2004-2014 showing anticipated trends in Delaware's occupations and industries.
