The Division also serves employers by ensuring that only those unemployed individuals meeting all eligibility criteria receive UI benefits, thereby protecting future increases in employer tax rates and the solvency of Delaware’s UI Trust Fund.

FEDERAL CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES

If you have been a civilian employee of the United States Government in the past two years, you should notify your local office. You may be entitled to unemployment insurance benefits under a Federal Law that provides for the payment of benefits to former Federal Civilian employees. You are required to present an SF8 and F50, and pay stubs or W2 form to the local office when filing this claim.
