OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation has essential partnerships with individuals with disabilities, advocates, and employers. The Office of the Director is responsible for the overall statewide administration of the Divisions policies, procedures, programs, services, and activities. In addition to working with external organizations, the Office of the Director collaborates with:
The Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (GCEPD)
The GCEPD is a nineteen member committee whose mission is to facilitate and promote public and private efforts to enhance employment through public awareness, educational activities, and events sponsored by the community.
The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC)
The SRC is an seventeen member council whose mission is to collaborate with and provide support to DVR regarding program planning and the delivery of services to people with disabilities.

The State Independent Living Council (SILC)
The SILC oversees the activities of independent living programs throughout Delaware. Core services include information and referral, individual and systems advocacy, peer counseling, and independent living skills training.
