What is DODHH?
The Delaware Office the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, (DODHH) is a state agency which was established on March 1, 1993 by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Labor. The goal of DODHH is to ensure that deaf and hard of hearing citizens have equal accessibility to services and programs in Delaware.
Mission Statement
The Delaware Office the Deaf and Hard of Hearing actively promotes independence, equality, and self advocacy for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Vision Statement
The Delaware Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing ensures all citizens of Delaware are educated regarding civil rights of people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, so that they are fully integrated into the community.

Information:
§ Provides information on assistive technology, local and national events and news.
§ Presents workshops and sensitivity training.
§ Provides information and resources about finding and working with a sign language interpreter and other auxiliary aids such as assistive listening devices and Computer Aided Realtime Translation (CART).
Referral:
Assists individuals in obtaining services from state and private agencies.
Advocacy:
Supports individuals in obtaining appropriate services or accommodations.
