Local Area Unemployment Statistics Program (LAUS)
LAUS data are produced from a monthly household survey of a sample of the total working-age civilian population. This is used in conjunction with CES and Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims data to compute local area employment, unemployment, and labor force statistics.
