If you wish to deliver any of the games in The Real Game Series, you are encouraged to seek training prior to delivery. For most games, facilitator training requires one full day and train-the-trainer classes require two. Facilitator training classes are now available online at the beginning of each month. Please check here for more information.
The Facilitator's Kit you purchased or received at your training class will provide you with everything necessary to deliver unlimited classes.
These Kits include:
We recommend that you purchase Student Kits ($3.00 each) for each member of your group because they are a good organizational tool, however, they are NOT necessary to deliver the complete curriculum. Reproducible masters for the worksheets inside the Student Kits and a black & white copy of the activity poster are included if you choose not to buy the Kits.
Facilitator Kit Costs:
The Play Real Game $295 + S/H
The Make It Real Game $295 + S/H
The Real Game $295 + S/H
The Be Real Game $295 + S/H
The Get Real Game $295 + S/H
Real Times/Real Life $295 + S/H
Shipping and handling (S/H)is 12% for under $200 in value, and 10% for orders valued at $200 or more. There is a minimum $12 charge.
The recommended length of time for completing each game ranges from 10 to 26 hours. However, because the games are designed to be flexible, actual times can vary depending on the wishes and creativity of the facilitator. Games can be shortened by choosing only specific activities or lengthened by adding a myriad of optional activities.
Don't overlook opportunities for team teaching. For example, an art teacher can facilitate sessions on creating business cards. Bring the real world to your classroom with community volunteers and guest speakers. The game is limited only by your imagination. Have fun with it!
